Dancehall icons Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Nadine Sutherland, and Admiral Bailey, along with IRIE FM’s Ainsworth “Big A” Higgins, are among 150 distinguished Jamaicans set to be honored this Monday, October 21, on National Heroes Day.
Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Nadine Sutherland, and Admiral Bailey will receive the Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer, recognizing their significant contributions to Jamaican music.
Additionally, Big A, the legendary IRIE FM radio personality, will be awarded the Badge of Honour for Long and Faithful Service, celebrating his lifelong dedication to the Jamaican music industry.
The prestigious National Honours and Awards Ceremony will take place at King’s House on National Heroes Day, October 21.
