In an intense five-round showdown, complete with a tie-breaker, MadHouse Experience claimed victory, captivating the crowd with exclusive dubplates, high-energy performances, and surprise guest appearances that kept fans on their feet all night. This unforgettable event celebrated Jamaica’s legendary sound system culture, taking fans on a journey through decades of musical evolution, with the audience's cheers determining each round’s winner.
Returning for its second staging in Jamaica, the event featured four powerhouse crews – MadHouse Experience, Big Bad Soca, Lon Don Crew, and Jamaica Wi Seh. Each crew commanded its own stage, battling to win over the crowd with unique mixes and unforgettable performances. In the end, MadHouse Experience clinched the title through fierce musical selections, special guest appearances, and fan engagement, as measured by Red Bull’s decibel reader. The opening round, "Temperature Rising," set the night’s energetic tone, introducing the crowd to the decibel reader, although it didn't contribute to the score tally. Jamaica Wi Seh took the crowd's favor in the next two rounds – “The Selector” and “Time to Get Versatile” – both worth one point. However, in the final double-point round, MadHouse Experience leveled the score with standout guest artists, leading to a five-minute tie-breaker where MadHouse ultimately secured their win.
When asked about their title as the 2024 Red Bull Culture Clash Jamaica champions, the MadHouse Experience crew expressed they were “elated, grateful, excited, thankful, and proud of the whole team! Alongside Cham, the team featured talented figures like Collin “The Captain” Hines, Copper Cyclone, CopperShaun, Game Changaz Stainy, and Brandon, who collectively brought the house down.
