Mothers Honored at Beres Hammond Mother’s Day Concert Through Community Partnership

What began as a heartfelt mission to uplift mothers in the Far Rockaway community became an unforgettable evening of celebration, love, and music at the highly anticipated Beres Hammond & Friends Mother’s Day Concert Experience held at UBS Arena on May 9, 2026.

The special initiative was organized by GlamSense Divas, in collaboration with Labelleladiva Enterprises LLC, Global25, and Jammins Entertainment, with the shared goal of recognizing mothers who continue to persevere through challenging circumstances while remaining pillars within their families and communities.

Led by celebrity stylist and GlamSense Divas CEO Madonna Williams, the effort brought several deserving mothers from Far Rockaway to experience a night dedicated entirely to them.

“Our goal was simple — to spread love and create meaningful memories for women who deserve to feel appreciated,” said Williams. “Seeing the smiles, excitement, and emotion throughout the evening reminded us why community support matters so much.”

As part of the partnership, Jammins Entertainment provided concert tickets for five mothers to attend the sold-out event featuring reggae legend Beres Hammond, alongside music icons Stephanie Mills and Romain Virgo. The experience gave attendees an opportunity to step away from daily struggles and enjoy an uplifting night filled with timeless music, unity, and appreciation.

Also attending as a special guest was Gwen Carr, the mother of Eric Garner, whose death while in a New York City police officer’s chokehold sparked national protests and conversations surrounding police reform and social justice. Her presence added a powerful and emotional dimension to the evening, symbolizing resilience, strength, and the enduring love of mothers.

The invitation was also extended to Miss Valerie Bell, mother of the late Sean Bell, another family whose story deeply impacted New York City and communities across the nation.
