Music with a Mission. Entertainment with a Purpose.

Jammins Events is proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds from its upcoming “Reggae in Action” concert series featuring reggae legends Beenie Man and Beres Hammond will once again be donated to the American Foundation for The University of the West Indies (AFUWI).

The two highly anticipated concerts will take place on:

  • Friday, August 28 – People’sBank Arena, Hartford, Connecticut
  • Saturday, August 29 – Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey

While thousands of reggae fans will gather to celebrate two of Jamaica’s most iconic performers, the concerts will also help support a cause that extends far beyond the stage.

Investing in the Future Through Education

For years, Jammins Events has believed that live entertainment can create meaningful change. By partnering with the American Foundation for The University of the West Indies, the company continues its commitment to helping provide educational opportunities for Caribbean students pursuing higher education.

AFUWI plays a vital role in supporting The University of the West Indies (UWI) through scholarships, academic programs, research initiatives, and student development. These efforts help prepare future leaders who will make lasting contributions throughout the Caribbean and around the world.

“Giving back has always been an important part of what we do,” said Jammins Events. “These concerts are about bringing people together to celebrate our culture while also creating opportunities for the next generation through education.”

Two Legendary Shows, One Meaningful Impact

The Reggae in Action tour promises an unforgettable weekend as Beenie Man, the King of the Dancehall, joins forces with the legendary Beres Hammond, whose timeless catalog has inspired generations of reggae lovers worldwide.

Fans can expect two nights filled with classic hits, unforgettable performances, and an atmosphere that celebrates the rich legacy of Jamaican music.

By attending either concert, fans won’t just be experiencing world-class entertainment—they’ll also be helping support educational opportunities that can change lives.

Entertainment That Gives Back

Jammins Events has built its reputation not only by producing premier Caribbean entertainment but also by using its platform to strengthen communities. Supporting organizations like AFUWI reflects the company’s belief that success should be shared and that music can serve as a powerful force for positive change.

Every ticket purchased represents more than admission to an incredible concert—it represents an investment in future students, future leaders, and the continued growth of Caribbean excellence.
